Heartland Dental is seeking a Business Assistant to join Limelight Dental Care. You’ll support the front office, greet patients, handle phones and emails, and help keep the office running smoothly.

The role uses Dentrix for scheduling and records, handles insurance claims and payments, and works with the team to implement Heartland systems, with a focus on patient-first service and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, emails, and communications with patients and insurers.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• Post insurance payments and manage accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
