Heartland Dental's Milford office is seeking a friendly Dental Office Assistant to greet patients, manage the front desk, and support scheduling using Dentrix. You’ll work with a collaborative team to deliver smooth patient experiences and accurate insurance processing.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in a dental/medical setting, strong communication and organizational skills, and a willingness to learn Heartland’s systems. Training and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Experience handling PHI and HIPAA training/compliance is important.

Responsabilités

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, emails, patient communications.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records management.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• Process patient insurance claims and follow up as needed.
• Post patient payments and manage accounts receivable.
