Job summary

Heartland Dental’s Farrow Parkway Dental Care is seeking a Business Assistant to support front office operations. You will greet patients, manage phones and communications, and use Dentrix for scheduling and records in a collaborative, patient-first environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing training, and a culture of learning within a nationally recognized dental support organization. Dental software experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and stability.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA awareness and safeguarding PHI requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Handle front office duties: phones, mail, emails, and communications with patients/insurers.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and maintaining patient records.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding items.
• Post insurance and patient payments and manage accounts receivable.
