Job summary

Heartland Dental supported office Lucie Dental in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking a Business Assistant to join our team. You will greet patients, manage front office duties, and support scheduling and billing to ensure smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidates have experience in dental/medical settings, strong communication, and a collaborative attitude. Hours are Mon-Thu 7:30am-5:15pm and Fri 7:30am-2:30pm, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a great first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, emails, and communications.
• Use Dentrix for patient scheduling and records.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File and follow up on insurance claims; verify benefits and coverage.
• Post insurance and patient payments; handle accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
