Job summary

Heartland Dental's Tulsa Hills Dental Care is seeking a reliable Dental Office Business Assistant to support front-office operations and patient service.

You’ll greet patients, handle phones, scheduling, insurance communications, and billing tasks using Dentrix, while upholding HIPAA standards and PHI protection. This role offers training, teamwork, and opportunities to grow within a large national network.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and protection of PHI compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a great first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, email, and communications with patients and insurance companies.
• Use Dentrix for patient scheduling and records.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File patient insurance claims and follow up on claims; verify benefits.
• Post payments and process accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
