Job summary

Heartland Dental-supported Gum Springs Dental Care is seeking a Business Assistant to join our team. You will greet patients, handle front office duties, and use Dentrix for scheduling and records.

Responsibilities include scheduling, insurance claims follow-up, posting payments, and discussing options with patients. Training and benefits are provided in a stable Heartland Dental environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office tasks: phones, mail, emails, and patient communications.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Schedule/confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File insurance claims and follow up on benefits and payments.
• Post payments and process accounts receivable.
• Discuss treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
