Job summary

Flowers Crossroads Dental, part of Heartland Dental, is looking for an experienced Business Assistant to join our team and support our front office operations. In this role you’ll greet patients, manage calls and email, use Dentrix for scheduling and records, process insurance claims, post payments, and support the team to deliver excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI data protection required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients; manage front office duties.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims.
• Post payments and manage accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and patient payment options.
• Collaborate to implement Heartland Dental systems.
