Stoney Point Dental Care is seeking a Business Assistant to join our team, supporting the front office and patient flow in a busy dental practice. You’ll use Dentrix for scheduling and records, coordinate appointments across multiple providers, and handle insurance claims and patient payments with accuracy and empathy.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the providers, adherence to HIPAA, and contributing to a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Access to minimum PHI with HIPAA training; protect PHI and data safeguards.

Responsabilités

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, email, and communications with patients/insurers.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record-keeping; schedule multiple providers.
• File insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims; verify benefits and coverage.
• Post payments and manage accounts receivable; discuss treatment fees and payment options with patients.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office performance.
