Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living in Orlando is seeking a Clare Bridge Program Coordinator to design and facilitate dementia-friendly programs that support residents' well-being. The role emphasizes person-centered activities and collaboration with families and clinical partners.

Responsibilities include creating a weekly calendar, coordinating events, ensuring Brookdale standards compliance, mentoring program assistants, and managing resources to deliver high-quality dementia care programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, education or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of direct programming experience with older adults and persons with dementia preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• May be required to obtain a commercial driver’s license based on community needs.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements a 7-day-a-week, person-centered dementia care program.
• Develops a monthly calendar with residents’ interests and schedules events.
• Ensures programs comply with Brookdale Excellence Standards Tool (BEST) and regulations.
• Educates families and associates about Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care; coordinates trainings.
• May supervise Clare Bridge Program Assistants and conduct performance evaluations.
• Plans and coordinates special events and oversees program-related budgets and resources.
• Provides support with personal care and activities to maintain service quality.
