Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a Clare Bridge Program Coordinator in Highlands Ranch, CO to design and oversee dementia-friendly programs for residents. You will lead a weekly calendar, coordinate events, and ensure programs meet Brookdale standards while engaging families and staff in ongoing education and support.

The role emphasizes person-centered care, collaboration with leadership, and maintaining program quality within regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, education or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of direct programming experience with older adults and persons with dementia preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a current 3-year driving abstract with no more than one moving violation.

Responsibilities

• Designs a 7 day a week person centered program that is engaging and meets the needs of residents.
• Develops a monthly calendar in partnership with residents and aligns events with interests.
• Ensures dementia care programs comply with Brookdale Excellence Standards Tool and regulations.
• Collaborates with leadership to educate families and associates about Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
