Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living seeks a Clare Bridge Program Coordinator to design and lead dementia-friendly programs, coordinating a weekly schedule that honors residents' interests and needs. You will collaborate with leadership to ensure programs align with Brookdale standards and regulatory requirements.

The role may involve supervising program assistants and contributing to staff training and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, education or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of direct programming experience with older adults and persons with dementia preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a current 3-year driving abstract with no more than one moving violation.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and facilitates a calendar of person centered dementia friendly programs.
• Engages residents in meaningful dementia care programs meeting individual needs.
• Develops a monthly calendar with resident input and coordinates special events.
• Ensures programs comply with BEST, state/federal regulations and Brookdale standards.
• May supervise Clare Bridge Program Assistant(s) and assist with hiring and coaching.
• Plans and coordinates dementia focused trainings for staff and families.

Education
