Job summary

Amazon Delivery Station is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support in-station real-time customer help and connect customers with experts for timely package information. You’ll base at one of our last-mile warehouses in Bayonne, NJ, handling in-person, phone, and email inquiries while upholding Amazon’s customer-first values.

The role requires strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with a full-time schedule and the ability to lift up to 49 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Experience in Customer Service.
• Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Experience prioritizing and managing time effectively in dynamic environments.
• Experience working with computer and web based tools.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with customers directly in-person, in addition to communicating via phone and email.
• Empathizing with and prioritizing customer needs.
• Upholding company values and respecting every customer.
• Resolving issues and setting appropriate expectations with customers.
• Clearly understanding and responding appropriately to the issues that customers present.
• Consistently composing grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written responses to customer issues.

• Making quick and effective decisions on behalf of the customer.
• Working a flexible Full-Time (40+ hours per week) schedule.
