Job summary

Sysco Raleigh, LLC is seeking an Operations supervisor to oversee Delivery staff, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient daily operations. The role involves directing delivery associates, ensuring regulatory adherence, and coordinating with sales and marketing to address customer delivery opportunities or issues.

The position requires leadership and strong problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and process improvements within the delivery department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred in Business/Supply Chain.
• 1–3 years related experience or training.
• Defensive driving program (Sysco approved) preferred; HazMat and Class A CDL preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams, interpret regulations, and manage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily delivery operations and safety of Delivery Associates.
• Ensures compliance with DOT, OSHA and other regulations; maintains logs.
• Manages labor hours, schedules, and budgets for the delivery dept.
• Coordinates with Safety to conduct training and investigations.
• Communicates with Sales and Marketing to resolve customer delivery issues.
