Sysco Louisville, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Supervisor to oversee daily delivery operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and manage staff performance.

The role involves directing delivery associates, maintaining logs and schedules, and collaborating with sales and marketing to resolve delivery issues. The position requires strong leadership, experience in logistics or transportation, and adherence to safety and food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Preferred: 2- or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major.
• Experience: 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• HazMat certification preferred. Valid Class A Commercial Driver License meeting Company standards preferred.
• Proficient in reading/writing English; strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of Delivery Associates, including adherence to SOPs, planned routes, and customer service.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations (DOT, OSHA) and maintains current electronic logs.
• Manages labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra days and shifts as needed.
• Oversees asset usage and coordinates repairs for the Delivery department.
