Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations supervisor to oversee the Delivery staff, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations. You will direct daily activities, monitor regulatory adherence, and manage schedules and resources to meet service goals.

The role requires strong leadership, safety acumen, and collaboration with Sales and Marketing to resolve delivery issues. On-site duties and policy enforcement are central to this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2-4 year degree in Business Management or Supply Chain preferred.
• Defensive driving certification required; HazMat preferred; Class A CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of Delivery Associates and adherence to SOPs.
• Ensures regulatory compliance (DOT, OSHA) and accurate electronic logs.
• Manages labor hours and consumables within budget; prepares schedules.
• Oversees asset usage and coordinates repairs with departments.
• Reviews productivity reporting and suggests efficiency and cost-reduction ideas.
• Enforces company policies and safety procedures; communicates with Sales/Marketing for issues.
• Maintains associate engagement and morale through regular meetings.
