Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee the Delivery team, ensuring safe and efficient operations and adherence to SOPs. The role requires coordinating with Sales and Marketing to resolve customer issues and maintaining compliance with DOT and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling, budget-conscious labor management, and driving continuous improvement in delivery processes. A Monday-Friday shift pattern may be required, with potential for variable shifts based on demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2-4 year college degree in Business Management or similar major preferred.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
• HazMat certification preferred; Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Delivery Associates and ensures safety and adherence to SOPs.
• Ensures compliance with DOT, OSHA and other regulatory agencies.
• Manages labor hours and supplies within budget; prepares schedules.
• Oversees asset usage and coordinates repairs with other departments.
• Reviews delivery operations and productivity reporting; suggests improvements.
• Communicates with Sales/Marketing to address customer issues and opportunities.
• Maintains associate engagement and adheres to company policies.
