North American Transportation Management Institute is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee Delivery staff, direct daily activities, and ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and safety protocols.

This role manages schedules, labor hours, and asset utilization, coordinates with Safety and Sales teams, visits customer locations as needed, and drives process improvements for efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college degree in Business Management or Supply Chain preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Defensive driving program completed; HazMat certification preferred; Class A CDL preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervise delivery staff daily and ensure safe operations.
• Ensure DOT/OSHA compliance and keep logs current and accurate.
• Manage labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepare schedules including extra shifts as needed.
• Coordinate asset usage and required repairs for the delivery dept.
• Review productivity reports and suggest efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to resolve delivery issues.
• Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
• Lead disciplinary actions and performance reviews as needed.
• Perform duties of supervised staff as required.
