Job summary

North American Transportation Management Institute is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee delivery staff, ensure DOT/OSHA compliance, and maintain safety and security of the delivery department.

The role involves scheduling, cost control, coordination with Sales/Marketing, and regular interaction with associates to improve engagement and performance. A flexible shift and a strong regulatory mindset are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 2–4 year degree in Business/SCM preferred.
• Experience with delivery operations or similar supervisory roles is valued.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English and manage reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery staff and safety, ensuring SOPs and routes are followed.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA and other regulations; maintain accurate logs.
• Manage labor hours and supplies within budget; prepare schedules and shifts.
• Communicate with Sales and Marketing to resolve delivery opportunities and issues.
• Coordinate with Safety department on training, investigations and safety inspections.
