Job summary

North American Transportation Management Institute is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee delivery operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and safety standards. The role includes scheduling, budget-minded labor control, and coordinating with safety and sales teams to resolve customer delivery issues.

The candidate should have a High School diploma or GED, 1–3 years of related experience, and ideally a degree in Business Management or Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• 2–4 year degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or similar preferred.
• Sysco defensive driving program required; HazMat certification and Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery staff daily; ensure safety and SOP adherence.
• Ensure DOT/OSHA compliance and accurate electronic logs.
• Manage labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepare work schedules and shift coverage as needed.
• Coordinate asset usage and routine repairs for delivery operations.
• Monitor productivity and generate efficiency improvements.
