Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2-4 year degree in Business Management or Supply Chain preferred.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
• Defensive driving program completed.
• HazMat certification preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL meeting Company standards preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Supervises delivery associates and ensures safety and SOP adherence.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with DOT/OSHA and maintains logs.
• Manages labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra days and shifts.
• Oversees asset utilization within the Delivery department.
• Coordinates repairs with proper departments as necessary.
• Reviews delivery functions and productivity reporting.
• Implements efficiency improvements and cost-reduction ideas.
• Enforces company policies and procedures including safety.
• Collaborates with Sales and Marketing to resolve issues.
• Visits customer locations to address delivery challenges.
• Maintains associate morale and engagement.
• Communicates policy changes and answers questions from staff.
• Coordinates with Safety to train and conduct observations.
• Makes recommendations for disciplinary action when needed.
• Executes staff selection, development, and performance reviews.
