Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc seeks an experienced Delivery Operations Manager to lead delivery supervisors, routing staff, and associated activities. You will oversee safety, adherence to SOPs, regulatory compliance, and customer service while managing labor, fuel, and budget considerations.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to optimize routes and use routing software. Expect non-traditional hours and travel as needed to support store visits and operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience or training.
• College degree in Business Management or Supply Chain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety and daily work of Delivery supervisors and routing staff.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, planned routes, and customer service.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (DOT/OSHA) and electronic logs.
• Manage labor hours, travel, fuel within budget; prepare schedules.
• Coordinate asset purchases and repairs for the delivery department.
• Monitor KPI and customer satisfaction; implement efficiency ideas.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to resolve delivery issues.
• Maintain productivity and routing software updates.
• Lead staffing processes including hiring, development, performance reviews.
• Perform other duties as needed.
