Job summary

The role requires strategic oversight of projects, budget planning, asset utilization, and collaboration with Sales and Marketing to address

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Valid Class A CDL meeting company standards.
• HazMat and Doubles Certification.
• Complete Sysco approved defensive driving program.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily work and safety of Delivery supervisors, routing personnel and other associates.
• Ensure management staff effectively manages day-to-day delivery activities and SOP adherence.
• Assure CDL compliance and maintain accurate electronic logs.
• Direct labor hours, travel, fuel and supplies within budget to maximize efficiency.
• Prepare work schedules including extra days and shifts as needed.
• Oversee asset selection and utilization to support the Delivery department.
