Job summary

North American Transportation Management Institute is seeking a delivery supervisor to oversee daily activities, safety, and efficiency for the delivery team. You will ensure DOT/OSHA compliance, manage schedules, and coordinate with operations and sales to resolve customer issues.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience or training.
• Sysco-defensive driving certification; HazMat certification preferred; Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of Delivery Associates and ensures adherence to SOPs and routes.
• Ensures regulatory compliance (DOT, OSHA) and keeps electronic logs current.
• Manages labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra shifts as needed.
• Oversees asset utilization and coordinates repairs with relevant departments.
• Reviews delivery performance and implements efficiency improvements.
• Interacts with Sales/Marketing to resolve delivery issues and meet customer needs.
