Job summary

US1635 Greco Wisconsin (Bellissimo Distribution, LLC) is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to support the transportation manager in supervision of delivery and backhauls, training staff, and ensuring compliance with government regulations and safety standards.

The role involves supervising daily activities of transportation associates, enforcing DOT/OSHA rules, coordinating schedules, monitoring performance, and collaborating with warehouse and customer service teams to resolve delivery issues.

Qualifications

• Requires 2–4 years of transportation experience and/or training.
• Class A CDL preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations and SOPs.
• Ability to make independent decisions in line with policy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of transportation staff following SOPs and food safety standards.
• Ensures compliance with DOT/OSHA and maintains accurate logs.
• Manages labor hours and supplies within budget; prepares schedules.
• Trains new associates and cross-trains existing staff.
• Coordinates asset usage and maintenance with relevant departments.
• Reviews delivery performance and implements efficiency improvements.
• Enforces company policies and procedures; ensures safety and record keeping.
