Job summary

Foundation Finance Company LLC is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist I to assess past-due accounts and reach resolutions in line with company policy. You’ll handle more complex inquiries escalated from customer service and other representatives, and you’ll perform outbound calls to recover delinquent accounts.

Responsibilities include processing over-the-phone payments, offering hardship options, documenting notes, and maintaining accuracy under deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in customer service or collections.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet and email.
• Professional phone presence with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Performs outbound calls on past due accounts to resolve delinquency.
• Researches delinquent accounts to determine best resolution action.
• Process over-the-phone payments, including credit card transactions.
• Provide hardship options in line with company policies.
• Relay information on interest, statements and other questions to customers.
• Assist with overflow calls including disputes, recovery, and bankruptcy calls.
• Document notes per company processes and procedures.
