Job summary

Foundation Finance Company is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist I to assess past due accounts, reach out to customers, and pursue resolution in line with company policy. This role also handles more complex inquiries and makes outbound calls to resolve delinquency.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1 year of customer service or collections experience, strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet, Email), and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in customer service or collections preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet, and email appreciated.
• Professional phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Strong typing skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess past due accounts and contact customers to resolve delinquency according to policy.
• Handle more complex account questions from customer service and other representatives.
• Perform outbound calls on past due accounts to resolve delinquency.
• Research delinquent accounts to determine best resolution action.
• Process over-the-phone payments, including credit card transactions, to achieve one-call resolutions.
• Provide relief options to customers facing hardships per policy.
• Explain interest, statements, and other account questions to customers clearly.
• Complete in-office and administrative tasks as needed.
• Document notes in required systems per procedures.
