Job summary

Foundation Finance Company is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist I to assess past due accounts and contact customers to resolve delinquency per policy. You will handle more complex questions, perform outbound calls, process over-the-phone payments, and document notes in our systems.

You will work a two-evening schedule with a Saturday shift every five weeks, contributing to relief options for customers in hardship and maintaining clear communications on interests and statements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in customer service or collections.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet and email.
• Professional phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess past due accounts and contact customers to resolve delinquency per policy.
• Handle more complex account questions from customers and other reps.
• Perform outbound calls on past due accounts to resolve delinquency.
• Research delinquent or potentially delinquent accounts for best resolution.
• Process over-the-phone payments including credit cards.
• Provide relief options to customers in hardship per policy.
• Relay information about interest, statements, and other account questions.
• Complete in-office and administrative tasks as needed.
• Document notes in required systems per processes.
• React productively to change.
