Foundation Finance Company is hiring an Account Servicing Specialist I in Minnesota. You will assess past due accounts, contact customers, and resolve delinquencies per policy. You’ll handle complex questions, process payments, and provide options in hardship cases, while documenting details and collaborating with the team.

The role requires strong communication, typing, and computer skills. Evening and weekend shifts are part of the schedule, with a focus on accuracy under deadline pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year experience in customer service or collections.
• Proficient in Word and Excel and general computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to handle stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform outbound calls on past due accounts to resolve delinquency.
• Research delinquent accounts to determine best resolution action.
• Process over-the-phone payments including credit cards.
• Provide relief options in line with company policies.
• Relay information on interest, statements and account questions.
• Assist with overflow calls such as disputes and bankruptcy.
• Document notes in required systems per procedures.
• Work with others and adapt to deadlines and changing needs.
