Job summary

Foundation Finance Company in Minnesota is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist I to assess past due accounts and contact customers to resolve delinquency per policy. This role handles more complex questions from the customer service team and other representatives.

The position offers hourly pay ranging from USD 21.00 to USD 23.00 with two evening shifts per week and a Saturday shift every five weeks. Strong computer and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 1+ year experience in customer service or collections.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet, and email.
• Professional phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Able to handle stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy to yield results.
• Strong typing skills.
• Two evening shifts per week, 12pm-9pm CST and 10am-7pm CST and one Saturday shift every 5 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Performs outbound calls on past due accounts to resolve delinquency.
• Identify delinquent or potentially delinquent accounts to determine best resolution path.
• Process over-the-phone payments, including credit cards, to achieve one-call resolutions.
• Offer relief options to customers per policy and practices.
• Explain interest, statements and other account questions to customers.
• Assist with overflow calls including disputes, recovery, first pay and bankruptcy.
