Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience, preferably in customer service or collections.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet, email.
• Professional phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess past due accounts and contact customers to resolve delinquency according to policy.
• Perform outbound calls on past due accounts and determine best resolution action.
• Process over-the-phone payments, including credit card transactions, to achieve one-call resolutions.
• Provide relief options to customers encountering hardships per policy.
• Relay information to customers about interest, statements and other account questions; document notes per processes.
• React to change productively; complete in-office and administrative tasks as needed.
