Job summary

Foundation Finance Company is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist I to assess past due accounts and contact customers to pursue resolution per policy. The role handles more complex questions from the customer service team and other representatives to determine best course of action.

The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage high‑volume calls, process payments, and propose relief options while maintaining accuracy and compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience in customer service or collections.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet, and email.
• Professional phone presence with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Able to handle stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy to yield the desired results.
• Strong typing skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Two evening shifts per week, 12pm-9pm CST and 10am-7pm CST and one Saturday shift every 5 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Perform outbound calls on past due accounts to resolve delinquency.
• Research delinquent accounts to determine best resolution action.
• Process over-the-phone payments, including credit card transactions.
• Provide relief options to customers per policy.
• Relay information about interest, statements, and questions.
• Assist with overflow calls including disputes, recovery, and bankruptcy.
• Document notes per company processes.
• Work promptly, with accuracy, and under deadlines.
• Collaborate with team and adapt to change.
