Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to help supervise a busy deli team and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will support ordering, inventory, and staff development while ensuring top-quality products and strong adherence to food safety standards. The role requires leadership experience, flexibility to work varied shifts, and a focus on teamwork, performance metrics, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years supervisory experience in deli or food service
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Food Safety certification and adherence to health regulations
• Able to work flexible schedule incl. nights, weekends, holidays
• Proven leadership ability to train and motivate staff
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Able to operate deli equipment safely and maintain cleanliness

Responsibilities

• Assist Deli Manager in supervising department for productivity and profit
• Handle ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and Deli team supervision
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning and teamwork
• Lead in hiring, training, and developing the Deli staff
• Assist in receiving deliveries and maintaining deli equipment
• Enforce health, safety, and sanitation guidelines across the team
