Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to help customers make healthy choices and lead one of the busiest store teams. You will support the Deli Manager in operations, staffing, and delivering high-quality deli products.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A flexible schedule, health/safety standards, and a focus on customer satisfaction are essential.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a preferred 2 years supervisory experience and strong knowledge of deli or related food service.
• Be dependable and reliable, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with the ability to interact with customers and handle special orders.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Deli team.
