Qualifications

• 18+ with at least 2 years of supervisory deli experience.
• Reliable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to take direction.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor; strong customer interaction and orders.
• Proven leadership to coach and motivate staff; understand reports.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Food safety certification and compliance with regs.
• Organized with multitasking and planning ability.
• Lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long shifts; operate deli equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Deli Manager in department management and merchandising for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and Deli team supervision.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales via planning and teamwork.
• Help lead a team brainstorming for quality and great customer experience.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Deli staff.
• Unload/store deliveries and operate/maintain deli equipment.
• Enforce health, safety, sanitation guidelines and ensure compliance.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and applies energy to the role.
