Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to lead a busy deli team and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will assist the Deli Manager with scheduling, ordering, inventory, training, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Strong communication and leadership are essential to coach staff and maintain high product quality.

Qualificações

• Be at least 18 years of age with a preferred 2 years supervisory experience and strong knowledge of deli or related food service.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule that changes with business needs, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Demonstrate outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude while engaging with customers.
• Show leadership to build, motivate and manage staff with awareness of margins and sales goals.
• Maintain attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain Food Safety certification and comply with all safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Be responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Deli team.
• Unload and sort deliveries, operate, and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure execution of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and train others to follow them.
