Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to help customers make healthy choices and lead one of the busiest teams in-store. You will support management in merchandising, inventory, and ensuring top service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a focus on food safety. Flexibility in schedule and commitment to customer satisfaction are essential.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with 2 years supervisory experience and deli knowledge.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to lead and develop the Deli team.
• Food Safety certification and compliance with safety guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Handle ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, developing the Deli team.
• Unload deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment while ensuring safety guidelines.
