Food Lion is seeking a capable leader to manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager. You will supervise associates, coach on productivity, and drive excellent customer service while supporting store goals.

Responsibilities include maintaining department standards, safety, and regulatory compliance, plus overseeing ordering, inventory, and visual merchandising to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Leads and supervises Deli Bakery HMS associates
• Understands store operating budgets and labor management
• Maintains safety, food safety and sanitation standards
• Communicates effectively with management, associates and customers
• Meets minimum age requirements and accreditation in food safety when required

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager
• Oversee labor and coaching of associates to meet productivity expectations
• Provide leadership to promote brand culture and customer service
• Help achieve budgeted financial and operating results
• Ensure department appearance, safety and compliance with policies and regulations
• Maintain inventory accuracy and manage ordering, receiving, and display of merchandize
