Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong store operations and merchandising knowledge preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job function.
• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar accrediting organization as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or attend training and achieve accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager.
• Daily management of labor and coaching of associates to achieve productivity.
• Provide leadership and motivation to promote a culture reflecting Brand Strategy and Culture.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
• Use company tools (ACIS, scheduling, CAO, reports) to monitor performance and inventory.
