Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery HMS Department Supervisor to support store operations and help meet financial and sales goals. You will lead the Deli Bakery HMS team, manage scheduling, and coach associates while upholding food safety standards and a positive customer experience.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a focus on quality and efficiency within the store’s Deli Bakery HMS department.

Qualifications

• A high school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Must be accredited as a Certified Food Safety Manager or obtain accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager.
• Daily management of labor and coaching of associates for productivity.
• Provide leadership to promote brand culture and customer service.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure department appearance, food safety, and sanitation are maintained.
• Adhere to company guidelines, policies and safety procedures.
