Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a dedicated Deli Bakery HMS professional to support store operations and drive financial targets. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Certification as Food Safety Manager or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Deli Bakery HMS department in the absence of the Deli Manager.
• Manage daily labor and coach associates to productivity.
• Provide leadership to promote Brand Strategy and culture in the store.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure fast, friendly customer service and a positive shopping experience.
• Utilize company tools and reports to monitor performance and compliance.
• Adhere to policies, safety standards and training requirements.
• Complete CBT and required training.
