Qualifications

• A high school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job function.
• Must be accredited as a Certified Food Safety Manager within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager.
• Daily management of labor and coaching of associates to achieve productivity.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with our Brand Strategy.
• Support the achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure department appearance, quality, safety and sanitation are maintained.
• Ensure schedules provide extraordinary customer service.
