Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery HMS Supervisor to support store operations and help meet financial and sales goals. You will lead the Deli Bakery HMS associates in the absence of the Deli Manager, manage labor, coach staff, and promote a positive, customer-focused store culture.

You will work to ensure department appearance, food safety, inventory controls, and adherence to company policies while delivering friendly service and efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lead and manage a team
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements
• Knowledge of food safety accreditation requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager
• Oversee daily labor and coach associates to meet productivity goals
• Provide leadership that supports Food Lion's Brand Strategy and culture
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results
• Maintain a positive, fast, friendly customer service environment
