Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery HMS Supervisor to support store operations and leadership in the VA region. You will supervise Deli Bakery HMS Associates, manage labor and coaching, and contribute to achieving financial targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role calls for strong communication, team leadership, and a solid understanding of deli/merchandising best practices. Applicants must meet health/safety requirements and be able to work in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager, including supervising the performance of all duties and responsibilities of Deli Bakery HMS Associates
• Daily management of labor and coaching of associates to achieve productivity
• Provide leadership and motivation within the store to promote a culture reflective of our Brand Strategy and Culture
• Support the achievement of budgeted financial and operating results
• Ensure that department appearance, quality, variety, safety and sanitation are maintained
• Understand and utilize company tools and systems (ACIS, scheduling, ordering)
• Adhere to all company guidelines and standard practices
• Meet physical requirements of the position
