Food Lion is seeking a Deli/Bakery HMS Supervisor to support the management of the department and drive customer service excellence. You will oversee daily operations, coach associates, and ensure safety and compliance.

This role emphasizes teamwork, productivity, and adherence to Food Lion policies while delivering an inviting shopping experience. You will work closely with store leadership, monitor inventory, labor costs, and promotional activities to meet budget goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet accreditation requirements for food safety within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager.
• Daily management of labor and coaching of associates to meet productivity goals.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with the Food Lion strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Deliver friendly, efficient service to create a positive shopping experience.
