Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Business Development Engineer for US Air Force programs. You’ll bridge RF capabilities with DoD requirements, work with Applications Engineering, and travel for field tests and demonstrations.

You will support technical benchmarking, roadmap inputs, and stakeholder engagement across PEO C3BM/C3I&N, AFRL, and AFLCMC. A U.S. citizen with SECRET clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communication systems is required.
• Exposure to RF testing equipment and a security clearance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Analyze US Air Force priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan network configurations and support field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with engineering and business development to align roadmaps.
• Prepare technical demos for airborne and expeditionary networks.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and test end-to-end architectures.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer meetings.
