Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with US Air Force requirements. You will support field tests, build demonstrations, and coordinate with engineering and BD teams to align with DoD priorities.

The role requires up to 50% travel, active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain, and US citizenship. Remote work option available based on location; travel-heavy field work is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering/technology field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech roles.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical comms is preferred.
• Knowledge of RF test equipment and lab instrumentation is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze US Air Force priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan, configure networks, and run field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to ensure architectures meet technical and benchmarking standards.
• Support BD in addressing technical needs and align with strategic priorities.
• Prepare technical demos for airborne, edge, and base networking needs.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and proposal efforts.
• Identify potential integrations with partners and test end-to-end networks.
• Engage with DoD program offices and AF research labs as needed.
• Capture field feedback to influence product roadmap and progress tracking.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and demonstrations.
