Motorola Solutions, through its Silvus Technologies unit, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Air Force. You will bridge RF engineering with DoD requirements, support field tests, and craft technical demonstrations across airborne and expeditionary networks.

The role involves up to 50% travel, remote work option depending on location, and close collaboration with Applications Engineering and Business Development teams to advance strategic priorities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of relevant experience; OR HS Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical/defense experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communications systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire; must be a U.S. citizen.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze US Air Force priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan, configure networks, and execute field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to verify architectures.
• Support Business Development with technical needs and roadmapping input.
• Develop and present technical demos for various airborne and base environments.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and end-to-end network testing.
