Motorola Solutions, including its Silvus Technologies subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Air Force. You will bridge RF capabilities with DoD requirements, supporting field trials from airborne to expeditionary environments.

Travel up to 50% with some remote work depending on location, reporting to the Director of Applications Engineering. The role demands collaboration with engineering and BD teams, shaping technology roadmaps and demonstrating interoperability of

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a C5ISR field.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communication systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.

Mansioni

• Analyze USAF priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan and execute field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate to leverage testing data and validate architectures.
• Support BD team with technical needs and strategic priorities.
• Prepare technical demonstrations for airborne and expeditionary networks.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and market research.
