Motorola Solutions’ Silvus Technologies unit seeks a Business Development Engineer for US Air Force projects. You will bridge RF capabilities with DoD requirements, support field tests, and present technical demonstrations to stakeholders.

This role demands up to 50% travel and a flexible, remotely enabled work setup depending on location. You’ll collaborate across Engineering and Business Development to translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs, while ensuring compliance with

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles; OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.
• Exposure to or working knowledge of Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Mansioni

• Assist in analyzing US Air Force operational priorities and mapping requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Support technical planning, network configuration, and live-on-the-air execution of field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with the Applications Engineering team to leverage testing data and verify architecture soundness.
• Maintain alignment with the Business Development team to support technical needs and strategic priorities.
• Assist in building and presenting technical demonstrations for airborne and edge networking needs.
• Contribute input for RFI/RFP responses and proposals.
• Perform market research to identify potential integrations with industry partners.
