Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Air Force to bridge RF capabilities with DoD requirements. Join Applications Engineering to support field tests, demonstrations, and system readiness across airborne, surface, and expeditionary environments.

Role requires up to 50% travel and may offer a 100% remote work option depending on location. Security clearances and citizenship are prerequisites for government projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in E,E, CS, Network Eng or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years in systems engineering/defense tech.
• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• U.S. citizenship required for government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USAF priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan configurations and coordinate field trials and evaluations.
• Develop technical demonstrations for airborne, edge, and expeditionary networks.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and partner with business development.
